How To Get Custom White Balance Your Way....Using Lightroom

      Through everything I have learned on my own in Lightroom along with YouTube Video's, I have learned that you don't have to stick with the white balance you set in your camera or when your use the dropper to find a gray area in your image to set the white balance using Lightroom in post edit.  Sometime's when I do that it still isn't quite right.  I have heard different ways to select gray when it comes to white balance.  I have heard to use the dropper and select the white area in the clients eye.  But what if they are too far away to select the white in the eye?  While that method may work, I seem to find anything that may seem either white or gray and move the dropper around to I find a perfect tint.  Not too light and not too dark.  Then...here's the customization... go to the temp setting at the top right in the developer mode and move the marker to the right to warm it up or to the left to cool the image.  Whalaa!  It all depends on YOUR eye and the look your going for.  Here are some examples below...
